Damage restoration

Storm, fire, and water damage restoration

When a storm, a fire, or a leak damages a home, the repair crosses several trades. Our own crews handle the rebuild from framing to paint, along with any brick, stone, or block work, so you deal with one company and one itemized estimate.

Signs

Damage we repair

  • Roof leaks or storm water that soaked ceilings, drywall, and insulation
  • Burst pipes, appliance leaks, and slab leaks that ruined floors and walls
  • Wind damage to fascia, soffit, trim, and siding
  • Fire and smoke damage to framing, drywall, and finishes
  • Fallen trees or limbs that hit walls, fences, and masonry
  • Vehicle impacts to garages, walls, columns, and storefronts
  • Brick, stone, or block damaged in the same event

Assessment first

What we check before we quote

  • How far the water or smoke reached, including behind walls and under floors
  • Whether the framing is sound or needs to be repaired or replaced
  • What has to come out (wet drywall, insulation, flooring, trim) before the rebuild starts
  • Whether exterior fascia, soffit, or trim let the water in
  • Any masonry damage from the same event

Photos help us give you a better first answer, but the cause isn’t always visible in a photo. When it matters, we look in person before quoting.

The work

The rebuild, trade by trade

  1. Emergency board-ups and tarp-ups

Openings from a vehicle impact, a fallen tree, a fire, or a storm boarded up, and damaged roofs and walls tarped, so the property is secure until the rebuild.

  2. Demolition and haul-off

Unsafe sections taken down, and damaged drywall, insulation, flooring, trim, and cabinetry removed and hauled off.

  3. Framing

Damaged studs, plates, ceiling joists, and blocking repaired or replaced.

  4. Drywall, tape, float, and texture

New drywall hung, taped, floated, and textured to match the rest of the room.

  5. Paint

Primer and paint on the repaired areas, or the whole room, so the repair doesn’t show.

  6. Flooring

Water-damaged flooring taken up and new flooring installed.

  7. Trim and doors

Baseboards, casing, and interior doors replaced and painted.

  8. Fascia, soffit, and exterior trim

Rotted or wind-damaged fascia, soffit, and trim replaced and painted.

  9. Masonry

Brick, stone, and block repaired or rebuilt by the same company, on the same estimate.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you handle the whole repair, or just the masonry?

The whole repair. Our own crews do the framing, drywall, tape and texture, paint, flooring, trim, doors, fascia, and soffit, plus any brick, stone, or block work. One company, one estimate.

A car hit our wall. What happens first?

Call or text us photos. We secure the opening with a board-up or tarp, take down anything that could fall, and photograph the damage for your claim or the driver’s insurer. The rebuild estimate follows, itemized by trade.

Do you match the existing texture and paint?

We match texture and paint sheen as closely as practical. Older paint fades, so we often repaint the whole wall or room so the repair doesn’t show.

What should I do first after water damage?

Stop the water, move what you can out of the wet area, and take photos before anything is removed. Then send us the photos so we can plan the repair.

Can you start while my insurance claim is open?

The estimate comes first, so you can share it with your adjuster. When the work starts is your decision.

Do you work with restoration companies and property managers?

Yes. We work as a vendor on insurance loss jobs for fire, water, and storm restoration companies, and we handle water leak restoration and perimeter walls for HOAs, property managers, apartment complexes, and subdivisions.

Do you handle permits?

We coordinate permits and inspections when the project and jurisdiction require them.
