Long brick and block walls take a beating from shifting soil, tree roots, water, and the occasional vehicle. We repair damaged sections, rebuild walls that are past saving, and build new CMU walls on new footings when the old ones have failed.

Photos help us give you a better first answer, but the cause isn’t always visible in a photo. When it matters, we look in person before quoting.
The work
Perimeter walls built without lintels over their openings sag over time. We install lintels first, so the restoration holds.
The wall is washed so every crack and open joint shows, and so repairs bond to clean masonry.
Cracks are repaired, and broken, missing, or loose brick is reset or replaced with brick matched as closely as practical.
Leaning sections are brought back by leveling the wall footing with piers. Free-floating walls that rely on columns are corrected by repairing the leaning or sinking columns.
Sections too far gone are taken down and rebuilt. When a wall has failed along its length, we demolish it, replace the footing if needed, and build it back.
CMU (concrete block) walls on new footings, including dumpster enclosures for communities and commercial properties.
Wall columns, caps, and entrance monuments repaired or rebuilt, and iron gates adjusted once the masonry they hang on is fixed.

If the damage is limited to a few sections and the footing is sound, repairing those sections usually makes sense. If the wall leans along its length or the footing has failed, rebuilding is often the better investment. We walk you through what we see.

Not always. If the footing has settled, it can often be leveled with piers. If the wall rests on columns, fixing the leaning or sinking columns may be enough. When a section has failed, that section is rebuilt.
