Retaining walls
Retaining walls on real footings
A retaining wall holds back soil and water, so it has to be built for the pressure behind it. Most failures we see come from a thin footing or no drainage.
We build brick, CMU block, and stone retaining walls on new footings, with drainage behind the wall, and we repair or rebuild walls that are leaning, cracking, or sinking.

The work
How we do it
-
Assess

-
Footing
We dig and form a new footing sized for the wall.
-
Build and drain
The wall goes up with drainage behind it, and we backfill and grade.
