Mailboxes

Brick mailboxes, built and rebuilt

A brick mailbox takes a beating: sprinklers, soil that moves, and the occasional car. When one leans or breaks, it’s usually because it was built without a real footing.

We build new brick and stone mailboxes on a proper footing, and we straighten, repair, or rebuild existing ones, matching your house brick where we can.

The work

How we do it

  1. Plan

We confirm the size, brick, cap, and mail door with you and check where the utility lines run.

  2. Footing

A concrete footing goes in so the mailbox stays plumb.

  3. Build

We lay the brick or stone, set the mail door and address plate, and finish the cap.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you build mailboxes for new homes?

Yes. We build new brick and stone mailboxes, and can match your house brick or the style your HOA requires.

Can a leaning mailbox be saved?

Often, yes. If the brick is sound, we can straighten it. If it’s cracked through or has no footing, rebuilding is the better fix.
